Burton LeRoy Muchler of Caro, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro, following a period of declining health. Burton was born August 26, 1924 in Flint, the son of the late Walter Scott and Aleta Mae (Jones) Muchler. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and upon his return to civilian life became a Teamster Truck Driver, most recently with Central States, until his retirement. Burton was united in marriage with Hope Muchler, and she preceded him in death. He was a member of the Teamsters and found enjoyment in sailing on his boat. Burton is survived by one sister, Mildred Hall of Traverse City and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Burton was preceded in death by his siblings, Bernice Bryce, Carl Muchler and Betty Wright. A graveside service will be performed at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013.
