Carey Sue Baxter

Carey Sue Baxter of Millington, age 41, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at McLaren - Lapeer Region Hospital. Carey was born November 30, 1974 in Flint, the daughter of Jack and Linda (Isaac) Watson. She graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1992. The former Carey Watson was united in marriage with Robert Baxter on September 10, 2004 in Hawaii. She has been employed by Tuscola County Central Dispatch since 1997, most recently serving as a supervisor there. Carey's life revolved around her family, and she dedicated a large portion of her time to her career in helping others, affecting the lives of countless people in our community. She was also an avid book reader and loved helping animals in need. Carey is survived by her husband of twelve years, Bob; one son, Taylor, the love of her life, at home; her parents, Jack & Linda Watson of Millington; one sister, Tricia Watson of Millington; her maternal grandparents, Paul & Gloria Isaac of Burton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and her husband's family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. In keeping with Carey's wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.
