Carol Blakely

Carol E. Blakely, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, June 10, 2010, surrounded by her family. Carol was born October 9, 1945 in Lansing, the daughter of the late Charles and Opal (Warren) Bills, and lived most of her life in Tuscola County. She was united in marriage with Fredrick S. Blakely on October 26, 1963 in Vassar. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2005. Carol was a member of the Caro VFW Post #4164 Auxiliary, the American Legion Post #7 Auxiliary, the Polish American Club and enjoyed helping with Bingo at the American Legion Hall. Left to cherish Carols memory are four children and their spouses, Paul Blakely of Cass City, Vicky & Jay Baker of Caro, Jessie & Bill Gilbert of Saginaw, Jeff & Staci Blakely of Deford; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandsons; four sisters, three brothers and their spouses, Judy & Loren Kunisch of Sebewaing, Linda of Sanford, Pauline Bills of Saginaw, Shirley Ohman of Caro, Glen & Erma Bills of Caro, Jim & Gladys Bills of North Branch, Russ Bills of Jackson and may nieces and nephews.
