Carol Ann Deck

Carol A. Deck, 72, of Minden City, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw.

Carol was born March 11, 1949 in Detroit to the late Floyd and Josephine (Spencer) Griem. She graduated from Murray-Wright High School in Detroit in 1967. She enjoyed Christmas, crafting, especially crocheting and collecting things....many many things. She was devoted to taking care of people, especially her grandchildren; she was mom and grandma to everyone.

Carol is survived by her children Michael Kirk of Oregon, Brenda Shefsky of Bay Port, Edward (Diana) DeGrand of Mt. Clemens, Craig Deck of Westland, June (Daniel) Walker of Sandusky and Harry (Emma) Deck of Marlette; 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Janet Walden of Port Austin, Wendy (David) Deacons of Filion, and Brian Griem of Port Austin; brothers-in-law Tom Campbell and James (Karen) Deck. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Deck, sister Linda Campbell, brother Ronald Griem and brother-in-law Harry Deck.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, May 5th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Burial will be in Port Austin Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 Tuesday.
