Carol Ann Loeffler
, age 61, of Sebewaing, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022, after a long and hard, but courageous fight with cancer.
Carol was born October 24, 1960 to Ralph and Charline (Gotham) Gremel. She graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing High School in 1979, and then received a degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She worked as an accountant for Nietzke & Fauple, PC in Pigeon for almost 25 years.
She married her husband of 41 years, Mike Loeffler, on December 8th, 1979 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kilmanagh, where she also served as the church treasurer for many years. Carol was an extremely hard working and loving mother, grandmother, and friend to so many people. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She was an avid bowler, loved reading, gardening, fishing with her kids and grandkids on the bay or at the pond, watching the Detroit Lions, and baking with her daughter. Every year she looked forward to sitting on the "Aunt Hill" during Christ the King School's annual golf scramble. She made the best bloody marys at the Unionville softball tournament, and loved a nice cold one. "Mumma Carol", as she was called by her kids' friends, will be forever loved and deeply missed.
She is survived by her children: Aaron (Charissa) Loeffler, Christopher (Justine) Loeffler, Brian (Kelsey) Loeffler, and Hannah (Ryan) LaFave; grandchildren: Elijah, Alana, Ethan, Westin, Shea, Beau, and baby Loeffler; mother: Charline Gremel; siblings: Steve (Patti) Gremel, James (Cindy) Gremel, Connie (Doug) Steele, and Sandra Olson; mother-in-law: Vernita Loeffler, brothers-in-law: Gary Loeffler and Bruce (Carol) Loeffler, sisters-in-law: Michele (Jerry) Harbuck and Renee (Bill) Dickson, and many, many nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Ralph; husband, Mike; and father-in-law Donald.
