Carol Lynn Shaltonis

Carol L. Shaltonis, 43, of Sebewaing, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw.

Carol was born July 15, 1980 in Pigeon along with her twin sister Jackie to the late Frank Jr. and Odile (Smith) Karle.  She attended USA Schools.  She worked at Michigan Sugar Warehouse for over 20 years.  She enjoyed gardening, playing games, attending fairs, car rides to nowhere, spending time with her friends and family, especially her granddaughter, family barbeques and bonfires.

Carol is survived by her husband Stephen; daughter Caylee (Jason) Eisiliones of Unionville; granddaughter Alyssa Lynn; twin sister Jackie (Mike) Palmer of Unionville; maternal grandfather Richard Smith; nieces and nephews Shanda (Joseph), Chance, Zachary, Tyler, Tory, Kelcie, Abby, Derek, Hailey, Hannah, Sam, Easton and Aleigha; mother and father-in-law Steve and Carrie Shaltonis; sister-in-law Jamie (Chad) Fritz; brothers-in-law Tim (Rochelle) Shaltonis and Ethan Shaltonis; and many aunts, uncles and extended family.  She was preceded in death by her brother Frank III.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday, November 6th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating.  Burial will be in Grand Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am Monday and continue until the time of the service.
