Carol A. Williamson, age 88 of Caseville, was gathered into the arms of Jesus on November 26, 2024. She was born on December 2, 1935 in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Elmer Naumann and Laura (Klockow) Brown. She married the love of her life Terrance A. Williamson on June 22, 1956 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Detroit, MI. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, service, and faith. She lived a life full of joy, generosity, and purpose. She created countless treasured memories with her husband moving many times and traveling the world. She was known for her vibrant spirit and love for life’s simple pleasures including the beach, sunsets, and a good caramel frappe. She also spent many happy hours with the Red Hat Society, playing Bonko, or playing cards with friends. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She dedicated herself to serving others, joyfully volunteering at the local food pantry and contributing at church folding bulletins, welcoming new members, counting change, LWML, and handing out cookies at Vacation Bible School. She always had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Terry; children Linda (Raad) Qasguargis of New Baltimore, Michigan, Nancy Williamson of Lake Worth, Florida, and Susan (Dan) Dubs of Owendale, Michigan. She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Mathew (Julie), Danielle (Eddie), Gabrielle, Emily, Terrance (Amber), James (Shania), and Hunter; brother-in-law Bob (Nancy) Williamson; sisters-in-law Gayle Lindensmith, Linda Williamson, and Janice Naumann and many nieces, nephews, many dear friends, and her beloved dog Bailey. She was met in heaven by her parents, Laura and Elmer; her sister Joyce Andre; her brother Ronald Naumann; her son, Craig Williamson.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be noon, Saturday, December 21st at Good Shepherd Church in Caseville with Pastor Chris Suggitt officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in Carol’s name to the Caseville Community Food Pantry. The family would like to offer many thanks to Heartland Hospice and Courtney Manor staff.
