Carole J. Poisson

Carole J. Poisson, age 92 of Caseville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
She was born in River Rouge on December 31, 1923, and was the daughter of Camillus and Anna (Pomaville) TeBeau, and graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes School.

On February 9, 1946 she was united in marriage with Roy Arthur Poisson in River Rouge. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1989.

Carole was a homemaker throughout her lifetime, enjoying spending time with her family and traveling. In her earlier years, she loved reading and playing cards, as well as bowling and other sports. She was a member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary, the Caseville American Legion, and St. Roch OLPH Catholic Church.

Her survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Poisson of Croswell; sons, Timothy Poisson, David Poisson, and Paul (Colleen) Poisson, all of Caseville; grandchildren, Paul Matthew (Brandis) Poisson and Jessie K. Poisson; brother, Donald (Dolly) TeBeau of Dearborn; and sister-in-law, Emma TeBeau of Jerome. She was preceded in death by her brothers Camillus and Kenneth, and sister Reta.

Cremation has taken place, per Carole's wishes.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Roch Catholic Church, OLPH Parish, Caseville, with Fr. Rob Pare' officiating. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m.
