Caroline Spaulding

Caroline Spaulding of Caro, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center - Cooper in Saginaw. Caroline was born November 28, 1944 in Caro, the daughter of the late Perry and Viola (Haist) Johnson and was a graduate of Caro High School, Class of 1963. She was united in marriage with Brent Spaulding on September 22, 1990 at the Free Methodist Church in Caro, and he survives. Caroline was employed for over thirty years with Caro Community Schools. She enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, working in her flower gardens, spending time by the water, and relaxing with family and friends. She was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge #940 and the Vassar Eagles AERIE 2380. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of thirty years, Brent Spaulding of Caro; three children and their spouses, Carrie Sepeda of Bay City, Eric & Kelli Spaulding of Caro, Michael & Josephine Spaulding of Mayville; nine grandchildren, Gabriellia, Joaquin, Taylor, Ericka, Brady, Lucas, Grace, Mason and Lydia; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlene Johnson of Akron; and two brothers, Paul Johnson of Arizona and Dale Johnson of Bad Axe. In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Johnson; and one sister, Marilyn Johnson. In keeping with Caroline's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
