Carolyn V. Adamczyk

Carolyn V. Adamczyk of Caro, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 19, 2016. She was born May 3, 1952 in Bad Axe, the daughter of the late Francis and Lucy (Yax) Ruth. Carolyn was raised on the family farm at Gotts Corner and graduated from Laker High School in 1970. She started her family at a young age, marrying Melvin Polega and having four children. Through the years, she moved around and worked various jobs. Carolyn enjoyed working at Walbro in Cass City and the time she spent working as a CENA. She loved to sing and dance and feel young. She was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge. Carolyn is a survived by her children, Jenifer & Rick Pfaff of Owendale, Kelly & Paul Knoblock of Ubly, Melanie & Greg Griffith of Empire, Anthony "Tony" Polega and Heather Ross of Pigeon; her precious grandchildren, Zachary and Kyle Osentoski, Macy, Kelsey, and Guy Knoblock, Breanna and Hannah Polega, Emma and Mitch Griffith; brothers, Tom & Lori, Mike & Karen, Dale, Jim & Linda Ruth; sisters, Elaine & Dave Peyok, Rita Bacik, Donna Peyok, Shirley Ruth, Mary & Dennis McIlargie; John Adamczyk; several nieces and nephews; and Richard Gettel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Don Peyok; and two nephews, Eric Ruth and Ron Souva. Private family services will be held at a later date.
