Cathy Lee Jaenicke

Cathy Lee Jaenicke, 36, passed away on November 24, 2020 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 16, 1983. She grew up and attended school in Freeland, Michigan, and stayed in the Freeland/Midland area until moving to Brooksville Florida eight years ago. As a family we will remember Cathy as sweet chaos with a beautiful soul who loved writing poems and short stories. She adored her nieces and nephews. Cathy had the most caring and compassionate heart that loved all people and loved big! Her friends will remember her as the one always there to help them through the rough patches in their life including being there to save the lives of some that had reached their deepest despair. Cathy's life, like a beautiful butterfly, brought joy to those who knew her, and though she was as fragile as that butterfly, she was able to touch those around her. Cathy was predeceased by her grandparents, Tom Maxwell, Bob Hutchison, Iris Maxwell and Jeanie Jaenicke. Cathy is survived by her mother and step father, Cheryl and Jim Luth; father, Scott Jaenicke; two brothers, Jimmy (Angie) Luth; Eric (Erin) Jaenicke; sister, Trish (Greg) Hollingsworth; step-sister, Lynsi Luth; daughter, Grace Kenyon and her dad, Kyle Kenyon; grandparents, Carol Maxwell, Grace Hutchison and Bud Jaenicke; 6 nieces; 4 nephews; God parents, Patti Maxwell and Dan Maxwell; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. She also leaves a special friend, Ben Bergenstein. Cathy's vibrant smile will be deeply missed but her legacy of love will continue into eternity. On eagles wings, Cathy Lee. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow later in the day at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
