Cathy M. Zinger

Cathy M. Zinger, age 51 of Caseville, died Tuesday morning, November 30, at Brian's House in Bay City.

She was born April 18, 1959 in Pigeon to Ronald and Yvonne (Churchill) Miller and grew up in the Elkton area. Cathy was a 1978 Laker High School graduate and went on to Delta College become a phlebotomist. She was employed at walbro Corp for a short time and at Sunny Acres Nursing Center until she married.

On September 23, 1989, she was united in marriage to Barry L. Zinger at the Elkton United Methodist Church and made their home in Caseville.
Cathy attended the Elkton United Methodist Church and enjoyed growing flowers and gardening, playing pool and making stained glass projects. She also enjoyed her morning coffee and collecting lighthouses and frogs.

Surviving are her husband, Barry; her daughter, Whitney Kay at home; two stepsons, Brad and Brandon Zinger of Pigeon; her parents, Ron and Bonnie Miller of Elkton; two brothers, Gary (Theresa) Miller of Elkton and Roland (special friend, Crystal) Miller of Bay City and her sister, Maryann (Brian) Dexter of Bad Axe. Preceding her in death was her nephew, Gary Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, December 3, at the Elkton United Methodist Church. Rev. Craig Pillow, pastor will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 9 PM Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton and at the church after 10 AM Friday.
