Cecil Werkman

Cecil “Rick” Werkman, 75, of Caseville, died May 19, 2015 at his home.
Rick was born February 2, 1940 in Pittsburgh to the late Cecil Sr. and Dorothy (Hill) Werkman. He graduated from Royal Oak High School in 1959. On September 12, 1959 he married Barbara Zaucha in Royal Oak. In 1972 he founded Frontier Broach in Warren, and was it’s owner until his death. Having had a home on Lake Huron since 1980, he moved there permanently in 2005.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; children Kim (Chris) Werkman-Howe of Rochester Hills, Wendi Werkman (Stephen Watts) of Rochester Hills and Michael (Laura) of Shelby Twp.; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Sally and brother Arthur.

A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Sunday, June 7th at the VFW Post #4659, 8311 Wilson Drive, Shelby Twp, MI 48316. Memorials in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
