Cecile Eva Dupre

Cecile Eva Dupre age 95, of Caro, passed away while at home surrounded by her family on Monday, April 27, 2025. Cecile was born on March 25, 1931, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Hervé and Alice (Valleé) Peloquin.

On June 25, 1949, she married the love of her life, Raymond Dupre, and they shared forty-eight years together until his passing on July 27, 1997. After marriage, they moved from Rhode Island to Detroit and then to San Francisco where they lived for twenty-four months while Ray served in the Marine Corps. Following Ray’s discharge, the couple returned to Detroit and started their family, raising five beautiful children.

Left to cherish Cecile’s memory are her children, Sandra Tallent, Teresa (Paul) Burgess, Dennis (Ann) Dupre, and David (Mary) Dupre. She is also loved and fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Cecile was preceded in death by her son, Daniel (Barbara) Dupre; sister, Theresa Peloquin; brothers, Norman Peloquin and Ernie Peloquin; sons-in-law, Don Aleck and Tom Tallent; and granddaughter, Rita Storey.

In keeping with Cecile's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family, c/o Dennis Dupre, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
