Charles T. Ashley

Charles T. Ashley of Shelby Township, formerly of Caro, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Chuck was born August 28, 1938 in Detroit, the son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Skelly) Ashley. He was united in marriage with the former Gloria McKeon on January 28, 1984, and she preceded him in death on August 15, 2012. Chuck is survived by five sons, Charles & Kathy Ashley, Christopher & Heather Ashley, John Ruehle, Donald Ruehle, Eric Ruehle; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Chuck was preceded in death by one son, Randy Ruehle. In keeping with Chuck's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro at a later date.
