Charles A. Bouck age 90 of Elkton passed away, Sunday, March 22, at Huron County Medical Care Facility, Bad Axe.
He was born October 24, 1924, at the home of his parents, the late Roy and Anna (Heuckroth) Bouck in Chandler Twp. Chuck grew up in Chandler Twp. and worked on the family farm with his father.
On June 16, 1949, he was united in marriage to Virginia J. Badgley in Van Dyke, Michigan. They made their home and raised their family in Elkton. Chuck left the farm and began working at Active Industries in 1949, retiring in 1986 with 37 years of service.
Chuck was a member of the Elkton United Methodist Church and past member of the Frank W. Hubbard Lodge F & AM, Elkton. He enjoyed fishing, camping with his family, gardening and riding his motorcycle. Chuck was a dedicated prankster who brought a smile to the life of everyone he met.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Virginia; two children, Connie (Paul) Lennox of Fenton and Donald (Nancy) Bouck of Bad Axe; five grandchildren, Aaron Bouck, Ian (Hollie) Lennox, Chris (Sara) Bouck, Alicia (Dave) Konecny and Shawn Lennox; nine great grandchildren, Madysen, Kennedy, Seth, Annabelle, Evan, Aubree, Lydia, Brennan and Easton and his sister-in-law, Florence Iddings of Meade Twp.
Preceding him in death were siblings, Floyd Bouck, Orville (Ruth) Bouck, Bill (Ruth) Bouck, Olin (Mae) Bouck, Verdalee (Waldron) Knechtel and Lillian (Carl) Kunsman.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 25, at the Elkton United Methodist Church. Rev. Craig Pillow, pastor will officiate with burial in Colfax Twp. Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday and after 10 AM Wednesday.
