Charles Kevin "Chuck" Dorsch, 54 of Gagetown, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at home.
Born in Pigeon on August 2, 1960, he was the son of Howard C. and B. Eloise (Shope) Dorsch, and was a 1978 graduate of Owen Gage High School.
On April 26, 1980, he was united in marriage to Nancy Hoagg at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing.
Chuck farmed and also worked as a truck driver for Countryside Transport. He enjoyed farming, hunting, snowmobiling, messing around on the four-wheeler, and going to town for coffee. "Papa Chuck" dearly loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Gagetown; children, Kevin (Kristie) Dorsch of Gagetown, Stephanie (Adam) Kubacki of Ubly, and Stacie Dorsch of Gagetown; a grandson, Max; step grandchildren, Kelsey, Hunter, and Makayla; his mother, Eloise Dorsch of Caro; brother, Donald Dorsch of Owendale; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard, and his sister, Carol Welther.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City, with Rev. Steve Bagnall, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Elkland Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family Discretionary Fund or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
