Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of our beloved 8 month old son, Charles Lawrence Johnson II, who passed from our arms to heaven on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Our peanut, Charlie, was born December 4, 2015 in Bay City, the son of Charles Lawrence Johnson and Jennifer Marie Kniseley. Although our time with him was too brief, we will be forever comforted by memories of Charlie's constant smile and his first word only recently uttered, "Daddy." He adored his older siblings and was just learning to crawl and stand on his own. Charlie was constantly bouncing, and was never far from a bottle, his "drip." He was a sweet baby and will always be missed. Charlie leaves behind his parents, Charles and Jennifer; four siblings, Tyler Skinner, Garrett, Serenity and Samuel Brossoit, all of Caro; maternal grandparents, Carol Kniseley and John Prosser of Caro; paternal grandparents, Chester & Lisa Johnson of Fairgrove; great-grandmothers, Nanny Marra and Shirley Tacey; aunts and uncles, Nicole & Michael Richie of Fairgrove, Cassandra Johnson of Essexville, Tyler Johnson of Fairgrove, Jessica Kniseley of Mt. Clemens, John Prosser of Fairgrove; a close family friend, Summer Pattison; and many cousins. Waiting to greet Charlie in heaven are his Great-Grammy Fran and Papa Tacey. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
