Charles James Miller

Charles James Miller of Caro, age 48, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw. Chuck was born November 25, 1970 in Fort Myers, Florida, the son of Warren R. and Leeila A. (Powell) Miller. He was a 1987 graduate of Akron-Fairgrove High School and went on to attend Great Lakes College. Chuck was employed at the Caro Walmart store for seventeen years performing several duties. He also worked several campaigns at Michigan Sugar Company. Chuck enjoyed cooking, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, and most important to him were his children. He is survived by two children, Destiny Nelson and her husband, Chase, of Arizona, and Warren Miller of Arizona; "adopted" daughter, Alexis Smith and her husband, Aaron, and daughter, Aspyen; his parents, Leeila & Warren Miller of Fairgrove; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In keeping with Chuck's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Watrousville United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Bill Sanders officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
