Charles A. Warren, 78, of Caseville passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.
Chuck was born June 25, 1943 in Detroit to the late Wilbur and Lucille (Kast) Warren. He attended Caseville High School and retired from Chrysler-Hamtramck after 30+ years. He was a Boy Scout leader for 35 years and supporter of his children’s and grandchildren’s sports teams. He was a member of the Snow Packers in St. Helen where he groomed snow trails. He liked telling jokes, playing games and helping at the family’s Cheeseburger booth. Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, old cars and family gatherings, especially with food.
Chuck is survived by his children Charles (Michele) of Montana, May (Steve) Alfano of South Carolina, Bruce of Caseville, Emily (Carl) Witherspoon of Caseville, Deborah (Richard) Hopkins of Caseville, Robert Scott of Lake Orion and Charles (Tammy) Scott of Roseville; grandchildren Julie, David, Christopher, Jennifer, Brianna, Emma, Logan, Audrey, Charles, Grace, Olivia, Anna, and Charles; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Gerald (Maureen) of Traverse City, James (Joyce) of Dryden, and Donald (Sue) of Topinabee. He was preceded in death by his wife Charlene in 2017.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00am Saturday, May 14th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating. Friends and family can begin gathering an hour before the service.
