Charlie Allan Trisch

Charlie Allan Trisch of Caro, age 30, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at St. Mary's of Michigan in Saginaw, following a lingering condition from a near drowning accident twenty-two years ago. Charlie was born August 22, 1982 in Caro, the son of Roger and Linda (Russell) Trisch, and was a lifelong Caro resident. In his younger years, Charlie enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, playing baseball and watching television. Before his accident, Charlie finished the third grade in Caro and after the accident attended Highland Pines School in Caro, graduating in 2008. Charlie attended Sutton-Sunshine United Methodist Church with his family. Charlie is survived by his parents and caregivers, Roger and Linda Trisch of Caro; one sister, one brother and their spouses, Andrea & Andrew Spannagel of Unionville, Bradley & Renae Trisch of Caro; special nieces and nephew, Gabriela Trisch, Karisa Elie and Joshua Elie, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd & Leona Trisch and Kenneth & Evelyn Russell. A special group of caregivers that needs mentioning are Joyce German and Rhonda Crittenden as well as volunteer family members and friends for these many years. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Sutton-Sunshine United Methodist Church in Caro with Rev. Dorothy Thon officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellington Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Highland Pines School.
