Charlotte Y. Swick

Charlotte Y. Swick of Caro, age 87, passed away on July 23, 2025 at Heritage Hill Assisted Living with her family by her side. She was born on October 9, 1937 in Caro, the daughter of the late Cleon and Evelyn (Robinson) Dennis. Charlotte graduated from Caro High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Swick on October 20, 1956 after meeting at the strand theater where she collected tickets. Their marriage was blessed with over sixty-two years, two sons, and countless memories. Sadly, Bob passed away on August 3, 2018. Charlotte and Bob enjoyed traveling all over the U.S., especially Arizona, Hawaii, and going on cruises. Above all, they loved spending time with their grandchildren. In her spare time, Charlotte liked to knit and read. Her love and presence will be deeply missed.

Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, her sons & their wives, Robert & Cherie Swick of Caro and Jeffrey & Marie Swick of Caro; five grandchildren, Ashley (Evan) Osentoski, Kaitlin Swick, Megan Swick, Brandon Swick, and Breanna Swick; three great-grandchildren who were the lights of her life, Emmett, Adin, and Isaiah Osentoski; sister, Evelyn Hutchinson; brother, Charles (Gail) Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte’s funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Caro First Baptist Church. Rev. Marc Herron will officiate with burial following at Almer Twp. Cemetery. The family will be present to receive visitors at church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Caro First Baptist Church.
