Christine Louise Guinther

Christine Louise Guinther of Silverwood, age 73, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at McLaren Port Huron, surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born October 18, 1950 in Pontiac, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Lafner) Harris. She was united in marriage with Jeff Guinther on August 19, 2000 at the Indianfields Township Park in Caro. Christine had been employed at Lindy’s Prepacked Carrots in Imlay City, and at R. J. Machine in Almont. She enjoyed video games, Monopoly, bingo, and garage sales. She also loved her cats. Christine enjoyed being with family and couldn’t stand a messy house.

Christine is survived by her husband, Jeff; eight children, Neal, Robert, Mark, Gail, Helen, Matthew, Wallace, and Ruthie; seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jenny Blankenship, Glenda Fisher and Dennis Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dale Morgan, Sr.; one son, Dale, Jr.; and one brother, Neil Foster.

In keeping with Christine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Applegate Wesleyan Church (2577 South Sherman Road, Applegate, MI 48401) on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the family wishes, c/o Jeffrey Guinther, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
