Christine Kay Nitz

Christine Kay Nitz, age 47, of Sebewaing, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Christine was born in Bay City on February 25, 1970, to Robert and Karen (Yanke) Long. She is a USA graduate, class of 1988. She married Randall Nitz on June 10, 1989, at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She attended 2 years of college at North Eastern School of Commerce in Bay City getting a business certificate. She enjoyed watching medical based movies, cross stitching, reading, canning, baking, and being with her grandchildren.

Christine is survived by her husband, Randy Nitz; daughter, Ashley (Jared) Bills; sister, Barb (Joe) Crowder; grandchildren: Brooklyn and Owen Bills; and nieces and nephews.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Karen Long; and children: Zachary Nitz and infant son, Bradley Nitz.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Thursday, August 31, 2017, at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
