Christine Page

Christine E. Page, age 86, passed away at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility on Friday, July 3, 2009, following a five year period of declining health. Christine was born February 8, 1923 in Big Pine, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Ernest & Emma (Buckner) Massey. She was united in marriage with Benson B. Page, Sr. in March of 1942 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. She was employed as a Deputy Controller for the City of Lincoln Park, retiring after nineteen years of service. Christine and her husband moved to Caro in 1987. She was a member of Wahjamega Country Church and attended as her health allowed. Christine is survived by her loving husband of over sixty-seven years, Benson B. Page, Sr. of Caro; two sons and their spouses, Benson & Nancy Page, Jr. of Caro, Donald & Connie Page of Lincoln Park; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Massey of Caro and one nephew. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by one infant sister, Edith Massey.
