Christopher Michael Gerds

Christopher Michael Gerds of Waterford, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 4, 2018. Chris was born July 15, 1981 in Rochester Hills, the son of the late Donald Charles & Deborah Lee (Ferguson) Gerds. He worked as a grounds crew member for the last four years with Archer Property Maintenance. In his spare time, Chris enjoyed, boating, golfing and watching Detroit Tigers and Lions Games. Left to cherish his memory are two siblings and their spouses, Holly & Scott Donovan of Caro, Don & Tiffany Gerds of Caro; one niece and one nephew, Tia & Guy Bracken of Caro, Zachary Nusz of Caro; and one great-niece, Izabell Bracken of Caro. A memorial gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
