Cindy L Farver age 57, of Elkton died Wednesday morning April 23, at Huron Medical Center following a long time battle with MS.
She was born December 1, 1956 in Pigeon to the late Lee and Ruth (Proudfoot) Chappel. Cindy grew up near Pinnebog and was a 1974 graduate of Laker High School.
On July 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to Brion B. Farver at the Pinnebog United Methodist Church.
Cindy was a stay at home mother raising four children. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She was an avid Detroit Tiger fan and especially loved having her grandchildren nearby.
Surviving are her husband of almost 40 years, Brion; four children, Ryan Farver of Elkton, Rebecca (Jason) Benjamin of Sloan, Iowa, Danielle (Richard) Renn Jr of Elkton and Sara (Chris) Bouck of Caseville; eleven grandchildren, Olivia, Brady, Miranda, Kennedy, Madison, Chloe, Blaine, Peyton, Aubree, Levi and Brennan and her brother, Jim Chappel of Pinnebog.
Preceding her in death were three sisters, Bonnie Pettit, Suzie and Ellen Chappel.
Funeral will be conducted 11 AM Saturday, April 26, at the Pinnebog Methodist Church. Rev. Nancy Bitterling, pastor will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Friday at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton and at the church after 10 Am Saturday.
Memorial gifts may be given to “Child Life” of Mott Children’s Hospital or the Pinnebog United Methodist Church.
