Claire Susan Barevich

Claire Susan Barevich of Sand Point, age 77, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Covenant Hospital – Harrison in Saginaw. She was born September 3, 1947 in the Detroit area, the daughter of the late Raymond and Miriam (Perry) Bauley. Claire earned her nursing degree from Delta College and went on to work at Scheurer Hospital and later the Bad Axe Hospital, dedicating over thirty-five years to nursing, before her retirement. She was known for her love of reading, going on cruises, and above all else, spending time with her great-grandchildren and family. Claire's radiant joy, quick wit, compassionate heart, and humor will forever be cherished.

Claire leaves to cherish her memory, her children and their spouses, Francis & Alicia Barevich and Miriam Huizar & Jeff Hughs; grandchildren, Devon Becker and Odin Huizar; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Caroline; sisters, Mary & Ida; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Claire was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond “Phil” Bauley.

Claire’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon. The family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
