Clara L. Buerker

Clara L. Buerker, 96, of Pigeon, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at her home.

Clara was born September 6, 1922 in Pigeon to the late Paul and Clara (Maier) Marshke. She graduated from Redford High School. On April 7, 1956 she married Robert Buerker at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Pigeon; he preceded her in death September 10, 2000.

Clara retired from Wallace Stone Quarry as the office manager in 1981. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.

She is survived by her nieces Carol Buerker of Atlanta, Georgia, Janis (Dave) Elftman of Filion, and Deborah (Mark) Schneider of Davisburg; great-nephews Christian and Evan and great-niece Kati.

A funeral mass will be 10:00am Saturday, July 13th at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-7 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with a 4:30 rosary.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
