Cody Sheridan of Fairgrove, age 36, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at his home. Cody was born August 26, 1982 in Saginaw, the son of Patrick Sheridan and Tammy (Huizar) Sheridan. His entire life revolved around his children and he loved spending as much time with them as he could. Cody's spare time was spent playing golf with his Grandpa Huizar and relaxing in Luzerne. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing hockey and remained a loyal Red Wings fan. Cody is survived by his five children he lovingly referred to as his "A Team", Amiah Sakon of Sebewaing, Aleah, Ashlynn, Aidan, and Annabelle Sheridan, all of Grand Rapids; parents, Tammy Sheridan of Akron, Pat & Karen Sheridan of Fairgrove; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Huizar of Akron; brother and his wife, Lucas & Heather Sheridan of Bay City; sister, Maureen Sheridan of Caro; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Huizar, Patrick Sheridan, Barbara Sheridan; step-brother, Justin Saunders; and uncle, Tom Sheridan. A memorial gathering to celebrate Cody's life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
