Connie Mae Motley of Decker, age 75, passed away on the morning of Friday, January 13, 2023 at home with her family by her side. Connie was born April 14, 1947, the daughter of the late Earl and Sylvia (Streeter) Dibble. On May 20, 1989, Connie was united in marriage to the late Thomas Motley in Brown City. Together their marriage was blessed with over twenty-one years and countless memories. From 1994 until 2007 Connie and Thomas operated their own party store, Moffitts, in Imlay City. Connie enjoyed playing bingo, putting together puzzles, crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She was a wonderful cook and baked the tastiest treats. Connie loved spending time with her family and especially watching after her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. Connie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Carol (Dan) Marker, Duane (Sally) Wilcox, and Paula (Gary Periso) Wilcox; grandchildren, Matthew (Shelly Scrimger) Wilcox, Christina (Nathan) Harneck, Gary (Monica) Kloc, Jr., Heather (Brian) Adamczyk, Patrick Wilcox, Randy (Riley) Maxson, Jessica Marker, and Matt (Robin) Marker; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Connor, Bobby, Charlie, Hudson, Landen, Olivia, Jaxson, Lydia, Jordan, and Colton; siblings, Donnie (Karen) Dibble, Ronnie (Lou) Dibble, Elaine (Johnny) Newton, and Shirley (Lyle) Ludlow; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Adamczyk; son-in-law, Allen Adamczyk; siblings, Jerry, Donna, Jim, Bob, Earl, George, and Arlene. In keeping with Connie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Private inurnment will be held at East Dayton Cemetery in the summer.
