Connie Jo Schmidt

Connie Jo Schmidt of Caro, age 56, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born February 8, 1965 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Louis and Sue (Nelson) Riedy. Connie was united in marriage with Greg Schmidt on August 1, 1987 in Saginaw, and he survives her. She loved animals and had many breeds of dogs, including English bulldogs. She also enjoyed horses, donkeys, loved playing bingo and talking with her friends. In addition to her husband, Greg, she is survived by two children, Ryan Schmidt and Sara Schmidt, of Caro; and one sister, Gail Pluta of Saginaw. In keeping with Connie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice in memory of Connie.
