Cora Moore

Cora A. (Jarvis) Moore, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Hilltop Manor in Roscommon, Michigan, where she had been residing for fifteen months due to final stage dementia. Cora was born October 6, 1915 in Dayton Township, Michigan, the daughter of the late Boyd and Nettie (Silvernail) Jarvis. She was united in marriage with Stephen Moore on June 6, 1936. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1995. Cora and Stephen lived in Pontiac, Lake Orion, Kingston, Mio, and Pensacola, Florida. She moved back to Michigan in 1997, where she lived with her daughter, Corinne, in Roscommon. Cora is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Corinne Wesolowski, Janet Mileski and Stephanie & Zane Nietiedt; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Elliott; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, Michael & Dottie Wesolowski and their son, Stephen, of Devils Elbow, Missouri, Meta & Bill Hutchins and their children, Bethany, Robert, Breanna and Daniel of Seymour, Tennessee, Timothy & Wyndie Mileski and their children, Nathan, Chystine and Faith of Summerville, South Carolina, Tonya & Wilson White and their children, Kayla, Kara and Kellie of Cross, South Carolina, and Kirsty & Jeffery Wright and their daughter Camryn of Seymour, Tennessee, Tracy & Tom Horn, their son, John of Cedarville, Aaron & Julie Moore and their children, Stephen, Sean and Elaina of Central Lake, Allison Moore of Oxford, Arthur Nietiedt of Pasadena, Maryland, and Amber Nietiedt of Pasadena, Maryland. She is also survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Norman Silvernail, Paul Silvernail, Waunita Silvernail, Pauline & Noah Cash, Bernice Berry, and Burniece Moore; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Cora was preceded in death by her son, Boyd Moore in 1984; her son-in-law, Tony Mileski in 2012; one sister, Laurine Jarvis in 1970; six brothers-in- law; three sisters-in-law and many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Wilber Silvernail officiating. Burial will follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery.
