Cory R. Mcalister

Cory R. "Mac" McAllister age 26, of Pigeon, died Tuesday afternoon, July 31, in Caseville.

He was born April 29, 1981 in Bad Axe to Harry and Kimberly (Moore) McAllister. Cory grew up in the Owendale-Elkton-Caseville area and was in the Class of 2000 at Laker High School. After high school he attended, Delta and later Lansing Community College. In 2003, he moved to Las Vegas, NV, there he was employed by Sharp's Cooling and Heating. Last fall he returned to Huron County and was currently employed at Shetler Plumbing and Heating.

Cory enjoyed playing hockey and all other sports; he had attended a culinary school and loved to cook. He attended the Rivers Edge Church in Caseville and was doing Bible study at the Agape Christian Center in Elkton.

Surviving are his mother, Kim (Rick) Rodriguez of Essexville; his father, Harry McAllister of Harrison; two brothers, Chris (Sara) Johnsonbaugh of Bad Axe and Brandon (Anna) Richmond of Bad Axe; his maternal grandmother, Betty Gerometta of Caseville; three nieces; a nephew and lots of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August4, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Stewart Justin will officiate with burial in Caseville Twp. Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 PM Friday and after 10 AM Saturday.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
