Curtis F. Bolzman, age 94, of Sebewaing, passed away at Covenant Hospital on July 31, 2024.
Curtis was born in Sebewaing on February 17, 1930, to Ferdinand and Meta (Schroeder) Bolzman. On August 23, 1952, he married Dorothy (Winter) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, married 68 years. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2020. Curtis lived his entire life in Sebewaing. He worked for the family farm and for Michigan Sugar Company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Curtis is survived by his children: Diana (Dale) Sonntag, Nancy (Don) Stecker, James (Rhonda) Bolzman and Dennis Bolzman, all of Sebewaing; 8 grandchildren: Ryan (Bridget) Sonntag, Kyle (friend Lindsay) Sonntag, Sara Stecker, Amy Stecker, Lisa Stecker, Brad (Megan) Bolzman, Jeff Bolzman, Katie Bolzman and Adrian Provost; great grandchildren: Connor and Liam Sonntag, Cullen and Leightyn Sonntag, and Lilly, Lancin and Layla Provost.
Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, grandson Easton Sonntag, and sister Eunice Stuart.
The visitation and service will all take place on Monday, August 5, 2024 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Bach). Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 12pm. Pastor Thom Garrison will be officiating.
Per the family wishes, the burial and luncheon will be private. Memorial donations may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
