Curtis Diver

Curtis Dale Diver, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Rendons Young at Heart AFC Home in Caro. He was born on January 28, 1935 in Detroit, the son of the late James and Adeline (Amprim) Diver. On December 20, 1958, Curt was united in marriage with the former Dolores (Dee) Armstrong, and the couple moved to Wells Township in 1973. She preceded him in death on May 6, 2011. Curt continued to work as a pattern maker for both Ford Motor Company and General Motors until he retired some twenty years ago. He was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge #1049. Curt was a hobby farmer and enjoyed deer hunting. Curt is survived by one daughter, Renee Diver of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Rhele Lundin of Bloomfield Hills. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eden Diver, Sr. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. A private burial will take place at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Wilmot. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to a charity of the donors choice.
