Cynthia J. Vanhouten

Cynthia J. VanHouten, 67, of Bad Axe, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at home under hospice care.

Cynthia was born April 23, 1953 in Bad Axe to the late Walter and June (Williams) McNeil. She graduated from Bad Axe High School. She married Walter VanHouten February 28, 1974; he preceded her in death September 29, 2010. She was a friend to everyone she met.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter Hannah; grandchildren Andrew, Walter (Caitlyn) and June; great-grandchildren Dominic, Kira and Layla; sister Catherine Bletl; and brothers Raymond (Sharon) McNeil and Walter McNeil.

No services are planned. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the cremation.
