Dale J. Blackstock

Dale J. Blackstock, age 65 of Bad Axe died Sunday afternoon, August 23, at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe.
He was born September 1, 1943, in Bad Axe to the late Harold and Amelia (Godbold) Blackstock and lived in the Bad Axe area all of his life.
Dale was employed at Wal-Mart for over 10 years, retiring several years ago for health reasons.
He was very happy just tending to his large gardens, playing cards and telling stories and will be sadly missed, most especially by his sons and grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Dale (Cathy) Blackstock of Bad Axe, Bob Blackstock of Elkton and Bryan Blackstock of Bad Axe; four grandchildren, Casey, Kaylee, McKenzie and Zoey; five brothers, Jim Blackstock, Edward (Luann) Blackstock and Gary (Jackie) Blackstock all of Bad Axe, Bill Blackstock and Mark (Becky) Blackstock both of Flushing; seven sisters, Shirley (Don) Bland, Gloria (Dave) Shuff and Jane Blackstock all of Flint, Mary (Joe) Prill and Linda (Chester) Gucwa both of Bad Axe, Sue Ellen Babb of Westminster, CO and Carol (Keith) Farver of Linden.
Preceding him in death were two sisters-in-law, Mary Blackstock and Rosemary Blackstock.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 26, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of services, Wednesday.
Memorials may be given to the family.
