Dale Churchill

Dale Richard Churchill, age 58, passed away suddenly Friday, February 29, 2008 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Dale was born December 14, 1949 in Cass City, the son of the late William A. & Iva (Smith) Churchill. He graduated from Vassar High School in 1969 and joined the U.S. Army in 1971. He was employed by Tower Industries in Traverse City for many years, retiring when he came to Caro in 2007. Dale cared greatly for his son and family and was an avid reader. He is survived by his son, Morgan Churchill of Laramie, Wyoming; four sisters, one brother and their spouses, Betty & Ken Hecht of Caro, Mary & Herb Knoppel of Hanover Park, Illinois, Gordon & Tina Churchill of West Branch, Shirley & Robert Herman of Magazine, Arkansas, Penny & Curtis Adams of Mayville; sister-in-law, Pauline Churchill of Millington; an uncle, Lee & Theda Ensign of Caro; aunt, Irene & Bob Capling of Vassar; several good friends including Alan Woolover; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Dale was preceded in death by a brother, William Floyd Churchill; nieces, Pauline Churchill and Kari Adams and a nephew, Kevin Hecht.
