Dale Joseph Sigmund
Dale J. Sigmund, age 61, of Sebewaing, passed away, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Covenant HealthCare-Harrison in Saginaw. Dale was born February 6, 1952 in Pigeon. Dale is the son of the late John J. Sigmund and Hilda M. (Gotham) Sigmund.
Dale retired after 30 years of service at NewCor in Bay City. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard. He is a U.S. Army veteran and also served in the National Guard.
Dale is survived by his children: David Sigmund, Danielle Sigmund and Stephanie Haag; his sister, Marge Mihacsi; brother, John F. (Brenda) Sigmund; and one grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Hilda Sigmund; his son, Dale Sigmund; sister, Patricia Nitz; and brother-in-law, Charles Mihacsi.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 1-8pm with a service at 7pm.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society and Leader Dog for the Blind.
