Dale A. Talaski

Dale Alvin Talaski was born October 27, 1950 to the late Alvin and Eleanor (Hiller) Talaski. He passed away June 20th, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region hospital in Bay City, MI surrounded by his family.

He was a 1969 graduate of Harbor Beach High School where he excelled at football. He worked on the farm as a young man and also worked for Kurzer Farms in his later years. He was employed at Sebewaing Industries/Tower Automotive for 31 years and spent most of those years in the quality department. He always had a side job that entailed construction and/or remodeling homes.

A beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and his girlfriend Sandy. He was always the first to lend a hand any time his family needed anything. He was a jack of all trades and could fix most anything around the house or on the farm. He also had an intense love for the outdoors. Deer season was one of his favorite times of the year. He also enjoyed fishing, shed hunting, gardening, planting trees, cutting wood, and any activity that got him out of the house. He took great pride in his yard and home and both were always well kept and neat. He rarely missed an opportunity to polka dance with his beloved girlfriend. Some will remember him for his BBQ chicken, which was second to none.

He is survived by his children: son, Matthew (Sarah) Talaski, daughter, Darci (Jeff) Horton;  grandchildren: Jacob, Madilyn, and Wesley Horton;  his brothers: Dan (Colleen) Talaski, Dominick Talaski, and Donald Talaski; and his sisters: Linda (Dennis) Janowiak, Lauren Osantoski, and Lisa (Scott) Ostrander. He is also survived by his significant other, Sandy Rosinski and her family, Cari Johnson and her special friend Denny, Ryan (Kim) Johnson, Chad (Kelli) Johnson and their children who looked to Dale as their grandfather, Charlene Curtis and Cevin Talaski.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Eleanor Talaski and his 2 brothers, Gary Talaski and Michael Talaski.

Special thanks to Ashley, Tracy, and Kyle from the neurosurgical ICU unit who took such great care of him and his family during his hospital stay.
