Dale M. Vandemark

Dale M. Vandemark of Cass City, age 65, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Villages of Lapeer. Dale was born November 15, 1955 in Caro, the son of the late Emery JR & Mary Ann (Orban) Vandemark. He graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1973 and began a career as a mechanic while working with his father and uncle at Vandemark's Standard Service in Caro. He later worked with his father at Caro Community Schools in the transportation department for over twenty years before taking a position with Thumbody Express. Dale enjoyed building model cars, riding his motorcycle, and snowmobiling. Left to cherish his memory are his sister and her husband, Debi & Michael Justice of Deford; four nieces, nephews, and their spouses, Chad & Maggie Justice of Deford, Kaila & Will Wood of Caro, Missy & Chris Rhodes of Columbiaville, Kinnan & Cassie Justice of Cass City; and many great-nieces and -nephews. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a brother, David J. Vandemark. A time of gathering will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. The gathering will conclude with a brief prayer and procession to Almer Township Cemetery in Caro.
