Daniel Griffith

Daniel Griffith of Caro, age 57, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home, following a lingering illness. He was born January 8, 1956 in Wyandotte, the son of the late Genina and Mary (Cupp) Griffith. Dan attended the Caro Assembly of God Church and was a member of the N.R.A. He will be fondly remembered as a family man that cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed target shooting, fishing, singing, playing guitar and photography. Dan is survived by three siblings, Wilma Thompson of Caro, Shirley Schultz of Trenton, and Glennis Griffith of Caro; many nieces and nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews; one uncle and his wife, Eldon & Joyce Cupp of Montpelier, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Warren Griffith in 1993. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Caro Assembly of God Church with Rev. David Dietzel officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial at a later date at North Grove Cemetery in Mayville.
