Daniel Ozbat

Daniel George Ozbat, age 70, of Bay City, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2011 at Brians House in Bay City. He was born on March 27, 1940 in Caro to the late Peter and Blanche (Perez) Ozbat. After leaving Caro High School, he went to Detroit and worked for Ford Motor Company and later for Mayflower Moving. Danny married the former Faye Knowles, and she preceded him in death. He enjoyed watching television sports, especially football. He is survived by five children, Aaron (Cindy) Ozbat of Prince George, Virginia, Denise (Jim) Trea of Smyna, Tennessee, Craig Ozbat and his special friend Jody Sprague of Owendale, Tony Ozbat of Smyna, Tennessee, and Tammy (Dewey) Cummings of Caro; nine grandchildren and several great- grandchildren; his sibling, Gloria (Stuart) Francis of Reese, Patricia (Dan) Winchester of Caro, Bob (Barb) Ozbat of Sun City, Arizona, Linda (Randy) Schemm of Newberry, Marie (John) Schneider of Lapeer, Dolores (Kim) Corl of Essexville, and Mary (David) Hagen of Watrousville; several nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Dorothy Commire of Essexville. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and James Ozbat. In accordance with Dans wishes, cremation will take place and a private family gathering will take place. There will be no visitation or services at the Collon Funeral Home.
