Daniel Putnam

Daniel E. Putnam age 37, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Port Huron, following a lengthy illness. He was born December 28, 1973 in Lum, Michigan, the son of Jack & Sandra (Worden) Putnam, growing up in the Caro, Cass City and Mayville area. As a youth, Dan was an Explorer Scout. During his working life, he worked in a variety of restaurants and bars as a waiter, bartender and manager in Port Huron for about seventeen years and three years in California, returning to Port Huron in the last year and a half. Dan is survived by his father, Jack Putnam of Attica, Michigan; two brothers, one sister and their spouses, Jack & Rhonda Putnam of Deford, Todd Putnam of Attica, Faith & David Moore of Port Huron; many aunts that include Pauline Putnam of Deford, Jeanie Worden of Caro and Edna Wymer of Attica; many uncles; cousins, that include Tina Wilcox and Josie Worden; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Putnam in 1997 and by a brother, Brian in 1969.
