Daniel Lee Shepherd

Daniel L. Shepherd, age 25, of Unionville, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Daniel was born June 6, 1989, in Bad Axe, to Darrell and Cheryl (nee Sparkes) Shepherd. He is a 2008 graduate of OwenGage High School. He took pride in working for Oak River Farms in Sebewaing. He enjoyed playing softball, paintball, go carts, video games, wrestling, hanging out with friends and attending Red Bud.

Daniel is survived by his parents: Darrell and Cheryl Shepherd; his siblings: Amanda (Bryan) Baker, David (Brooke) Sheufelt, Amy (James) LaCroix, Ashley (Anthony) Hellebuyck and Angela Shepherd; nieces and nephews: Kaitlyn, Dagon, Rylin, Casey, JoAnn, Ava, Olivia, Aubrey and Axton; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from 2-8pm and Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 1-8pm with sharing of memories from 7-8pm at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

The funeral service will be Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 12noon until the time of service at 1pm. Pastor Reed from Immanuel Lutheran Church will be officiating.

Burial will take place at Grant Township Cemetery in Gagetown after the service.

There will also be a benefit dinner for the family on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the American Legion Hall in Sebewaing from 5-9pm.
