Danny O. Miller

Danny O. Miller of Caro, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 25, 2025. Danny was born April 30, 1947 in Cass City, the son of the late Nelson and Naomi (Spaulding) Miller. He grew up in the Thumb, lived in various places over the years for work, and eventually returned to the place he always considered home. Over the years, Danny worked a variety of jobs, including in factories, as an auto mechanic, and most recently helping with summer produce on a local farm. Danny was a simple man who found joy in the everyday things, especially the companionship of his beloved dogs and the peace of being outside.

Left to cherish Danny’s memory are four daughters and their spouses, Tammy & Dwain Ewald, Michelle & Ben Thompson, Marlene Stewart, and Laura & Vic Sadro; grandchildren, Kali Ewald, Ryleigh Ewald, and Justin Davis; two great-grandchildren, Grant and Maci; sister, EllaJane O’Dell; special friend, Margaret Warrington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by five siblings, Viola, Charles, Ronnie, Jocelyn, and David; and brothers-in-law, Kermit, Edward, and Carson.
