Darlene Bohm

Darlene Marie Bohm, age 71, of Caro died on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Tendercare of Frankenmuth. She was born on October 12, 1939 in Tuscola County to the late John and Helen (La Douce) Chapelo. Darlene was a lifelong resident of Caro. Darlene Chapelo and Henry Bohm were married in Caro some 42 years ago. Darlene was a homemaker and a mother. She and her husband were members of the Free Methodist Church of Caro until she was unable to attend and it closed. Darlene was a kind soul and loved by most everyone she met. She enjoyed walking, dancing, singing, and listening to Christian music. She is survived by her husband, Henry, of Caro; one daughter, Bridgett Wood of Caro; two grandchildren, Dennis Bohm and Lizzie Wood of Caro; her siblings, Mary Ann (Robert) Pratt of Reese, Donna (Donald) Roth of Caro, Sandra (Lawrence) Brooks of Vassar, Helen (Art) Randall of Cass City, John Wayne (Cathy) Chapelo of Houghton Lake, and Ann Debra (Mardy) Lapeinski of Caro; an uncle, Steve (Gerry) Chapela of Lansing; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Richard Lee Chapelo; and one son, Darrin Bohm. The funeral service will be held at Living Waters Chapel in Caro on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor James Solomon officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held at Living Waters Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Darlene Bohm family discretionary fund, c/o Donna Roth, 302 S.
