Darlene Louise Miller

Darlene Louise Miller of Caro, age 70, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. Darlene was born March 11, 1948 in Marlette, the daughter of the late John and Louise (Schmidt) Jocham, and was a graduate of Kingston High School. She was united in marriage with Gary Miller on May 27, 1967 at St. Patrick's Church in Clifford. Darlene was a foster care provider for nineteen years, a hairdresser in Kingston and Marlette, and ran a catering and cake making business. She also was a school bus driver, an aide at Highland Pines, and a real estate agent working for Osentoski Realty for more than twenty years. Darlene loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking and going to the casino. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Gary Miller of Caro; three sons and their spouses, Gary, Jr. & Alicia Miller of Caro, John & Faith Miller of Caro, Jim & Tracy Miller of Wisner; six grandchildren, Cammrin (Ashley), Tyler, Gunner, Jacob, Myriah, Keggan; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Ezekiel; one brother, Carl Jocham of Clifford; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by one daughter, Darcy Louise; and three brothers, John, Paul and Frank Jocham. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Chris Taylor officiating.
