Darrin Lalonde

Darrin LaLonde, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Detroit Medical Center. He was born on December 25, 1967 in Caro, the son of Arthur and Peggy (Bell) LaLonde. Darrins working career, prior to his illness, was as a plasterer, working out of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 9. He was united in marriage with Carol Sullivan on October 10, 2008 in Caro after a 16 year courtship. Darrin loved animals, cherished and admired all aspects of nature, and enjoyed life to the fullest. Surviving Darrin is his wife, Carol; his sons, Daniel Metler of Portland, Oregon and Alexander LaLonde, at home; his mother, Peggy LaLonde of Caro; his siblings, Derek LaLonde of Portland, Oregon, Denise & Tim Hutchinson of Caro, Deanna LaLonde of Caro, Dominick & Shasta LaLonde of Clare, Darcy & Tim Heyd of Traverse City; his mother-in-law, Nancy Sullivan of Vassar; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dawn Sullivan and Glen Majors of Mayville, Penny & Ralph Huber of Vassar, Trudi Sullivan of Vassar, Ed & Melissa Sullivan of Bath; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Darrin was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Edward Sullivan.
